Hey there and Happy New Year! I hope you all had a great Christmas and are looking forward to some great 4-wheeling this year! Yes it's time to start making reservations for Twain Harte. So here's some info for you:
Most of the folks with RV's are staying at Sugar Pine RV park - they have RV spots, some cabins, and trailers they rent out. It's not my first choice if you don't have your own RV but we stayed there last year in a trailer and it was just "adequate".

A much nicer place to stay is at the Lazy Z Resort - it is a bit of a drive from the main town of Twain Harte (15-mins) but has good pricing and cabins and rooms around a gated pool, hot tub, etc.. I've stayed here and it was really nice.

Another choice on the list is the Wildwood Inn. I stayed here several years ago and it was pretty good - not great but better than a Hotel 6. They may have made some improvements since then? The benefit is they are right in the heart of town, so you can walk 5 mins to get to the "main strip" of Twain Harte:

Dates for the Twain Harte trip are Fri-Mon, Feb 12-15 (15th is Presidents day) and of course the 14th is Valentines day. Better make your reservations now!!
